Stuffed Shells Recipe

A basic stuffed shell recipe. Makes 4 servings.

1/2 (12 ounce) package of large shells or about 18 shells.
26 oz jar of Prego 3 cheese pasta sauce
15 oz container of ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg

Cook shells and drain. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, mix ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan and egg. Stuff shells with cheese mixture. Stuff the shells with cheese mixture. In a 4.5 quart open roaster, pour half the pasta sauce; arrange stuffed shells in sauce. Top with remaining pasta sauce. Cover and bake 30 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with the other 1 cup of mozzarella. Bak 5 more minutes.
